Swimming!

Today Cruz had his first swimming lesson... No tears and a few smiles here and there, he went through the tunnel and hoop and even under the water! He was very lucky to only have one other bub in his class and a very happy young bloke teaching him who knew great songs to swim and splash to! He also had quite a large fan club.

After swimming we all headed indoors for a nice lunch to celebrate fays birthday (a week early as mum will be in Melbourne)

Cruz and I said goodbye to her last week... our last memory is a lovely one, and her last memory of Cruz was a big sloppy kiss and a huge smile

Cruz has been watching the jets long before he was born (infact his over-due arrival stopped daddy going to sydney to watch the grand final last year). Adam has been desperate to get him to his very first live game which we wen't to on Sunday to watch teh 2 all draw with wellington

Mikes Trivia Night.. This SAT 11th oct all welcome!

Mike and I have been very busy the last few months raising money for Kaleidoscope - At long last we have a date, time and venue for the trivia night and would love you all to attend.. remember its not about who much trivia you do or don't know, it's about raising money for sick kids! (thats what I keep reminding myself every time I eat one of the fundraising chocolates)

Thanks uncle matt for helping collect and build Cruz's swing set and an even bigger thanks to the Hales for kindly passing it along now their girls have grown out of it.. Cruz has a swing every morning after breakfast and loves it!

Emma turns 2!

We called in and Saw Rob, Al & Emma a few weeks back to give Emma her very late 2nd birthday pressie - Some clothes and a kite (which we made rob run up and down the street with trying to get to fly... best ten dollars we ever spent, havn't laughed so hard in ages)
