Someone got spoilt today!
We've been very well behaved at not buying too many things, but these were a bargain and just too cute.

Adam and I enjoyed a swim at Redhead beach this afternoon. It was lovely, and no, they didn't mistake me for the pasha bulka...

We had a special message for our little one....

36 Weeks

The obstetrician has predicted a baby 'on the larger side' can't imagine why.....

36 weeks pregnant

My last documentation of the baby belly. These were done at almost 36weeks and this time I included Adam in the shots.

A super proud and excited father to be

Perhaps there were some jokes made about how our little angel was conceived???? (judging by particularly adam's face!)

Since some companies pay for their employees to have gym memberships, my bosses decided it was about time they took me for a swim in my lunch break at the Newcastle Baths. Water was a lovely 21 degrees and the gelato afterwards topped the occasion off!

Here's my bosses, I don't have a favourite (except on meeting days)

Ric and particularly I, enjoy the buoancy of the salt water! My tummy would only float for about 2 minutes though, was much easier when I flipped over and did it.

Gravity took it's toll on me after I got out of the salt water, my poor aching feet!

Months of fighting have finally paid off - Our new lounge arrived this week after 2 years of owning a lemon!

Poppy ric did these gorgeous paintings to match the nursery. I was supposed to paint the background blue this week and came to work friday to find them all finished, what a wonderful surprise that was. The first thing the baby will need is sunglasses! It has a very bright room but thats just what we wanted ...none of that washed out looking nursery stuff you buy in a complete kit, this had been loads more fun and everyone has helped make the room extra special.

This baby sure does have a clever pop

Uncle Mike on a mission to get these damn pictures right!

The finished product! After 3 maths attempts (on mikes behalf, he wouldnt let me near it) and a few dud holes. The nursery is almost done now.

Maddison has been trying very hard lately to walk on the lead in a civilized manner!
She is practising behaving so that when the bub comes along I might just be able to manage Maddison and the pram - Elektra on the other hand is a whole other story.

No ... that's not a pimp in our loungeroom! It's my husband in his 'Italian Stalion' rocky gown his sister bought him for his birthday.

We picked up our pram and car seat and a few other bits and pieces today. Pip and Pop (therese and ric ha ha) bought the pram for us and Nan (dianne) got us the car seat. The pram is very funky and iv been pushing it up and down the hallway 'practising' this afternoon! This is the pram without the insert for when the bub is a bit older. The pram even has a jogging wrist strap that you are supposed to put on. Adam and I had a big laugh about me jogging today with my nursing bra and big boobs jiggling about with a wrinkly tummy and crying newborn baby -
Not sure how much jogging the pram will do but the option is certainly there!

Pram with the basinette insert in - we think we will use this while the baby is still small, it's nice and snug and the hood of the pram and baisnette can almost meet right up to create a nice cosy sleeping or wind proof area.

Babies cot - all ready to go thanks to the babies great grandpa 'poppy'

We have been very busy organising the nursery! I have really enjoyed doing it - there is only one thing missing but will be here before we know it ( 5 and a half weeks). The nursery is very bright and has a frog theme. There are still a few little things to be done. Pop ric is doing some pictures for the wall and our nursing chair is on order.

Afternoon tea with Ebb!
I've just got back in contact with my best friend from when I was in High School - We had a typical 17 year old girl falling out and hadn't spoken for 7 years. We have been enjoying the last couple of months getting to know each other all over again and this afternoon tea she brought around this week was certainly a hit! Adam got the left overs- no complaints from him!

Addam and Emma - We went down to Soldiers beach last weekend with adams best mate Rob, his wife and their little girl Emma. It was Emma's first ever beach experience. We all found it very amusing when Alison said 'look Emma wave' and she started waving at the wave! I can't wait for these special moments with our baby.

Adam turns 24! We celebrated with about 20 family and friends.

Adam with 14 month old Emma at his birthday. She was very happy to sit on everyones lap while they read her the same book over and over again!

We are very lucky to have had the babies cot made by Adams Poppy (babies great poppy). It is a labour of love and took months of hard work and sanding. It doesnt have a single screw in it, it's all tounge and groove and glued (they certainly dont make them like this now days). It has a gold plaque on

the front (was not on in this pic) saying "Made with love by Poppy 2008". It really is a master piece that will be treasured for many years.

New year Fire Works

New Year Fire Works at Warners Bay - New camera did quite alright considering the distance we were from the action. Adam fell asleep on the lounge before 12! (had worked all day)

Maddison 'Miss Bliss' sporting her summer doo. I am finally the proud owner of industrial strength clippers which her coat needs. This took 2.5 hours and she was very well behaved believe it or not!

I got a new (little handbag size camera) for chrissie. This bamboo plant was the only one willing to model for me without winging.

Guess what adam got for christmas! Mike didn't smile for too long...

Christmas 2007 - Adam's brother Matt and his sister in law Bec
