Hillarious Birthday card

Card read: Inside this card is a very special message from god - 'See you soon!'. We all appreciated Fays ability to make us all laugh, despite being a regular at Sunday mass

Burn The Floor!

Mum and ric pulled out some rather interesting dance moves while we were waiting for dinner, thank goodness at that stage we had the entire place to ourselves - The staff did nothing to calm the hungry customers, instead they turned the music up!

Mum had NEVER had an oyster in 50 years! So we forced her to try one ....

She then washed it down with her first glass (sip) of red in 8 years!

Fay and Cruz share a smile

Mike ordered mum the chocolate lovers plate - ric and I helped...

The wait is over! After 6 long weeks

I have been waiting for 6 weeks now to put something other than live rock in my marine aquarium (takes that long for the rock to cure, tank to cycle and ph, amonia and salinity to be ok) that Adam bought me for my birthday. Jason and I have a heart to heart about what I can start with... just the damsels today but hopefully in the next few weeks it will get a little more exciting!

Can we buy the shark?

The shark on the left of me is just amazing but despite it being sold already, it will grow about 60cm larger than my tank, so we'll have to stick to the damsels today

The car trip home

ric was in charge of ensuring the new family members made it home ok while I drove very carefully!

Zebb and Eclipse the 'practice fish'

Zebb (black and white) is a Humbug Damsel and Eclipse is a Bluestreak Damsel

Zebb hiding behind the rocks

If these 4 guys make it over the next few weeks I can then get something a little more fantastic - Next step will be clown fish as they are quite hardy, then hopefully I can introduce some angels, but.... I need to ensure these less costly guys survive first as clowns starts at about $35 and the flame angel I have my eye on is $110! (christmas present???)

Cosmo & Retro

These are yellowtail damsels and seem to be sticking together in their new environment - this photo doesnt do them any justice, the colour of them is just amazing
