Our first family holiday

The early start was a little unbearable for some

No... we didn't go to Egypt...

This is where we stayed and booked a 'mystery room' (just get whats left) there was nothing too mysterious about our room - the mystery was where the two pool, jaccusi, sauna and state of the art gym was...???

The out of bounds balcony

This was our balcony we couldnt use because the old witch next door was a chain smoker (actually got up every hour during the night to smoke then cough her lungs up) - we later found out you were not allowed to smoke out there!!!! We then had a fight with management

Lots of fun

Adam and I had a lot and lots of laughs just like we used to...

it's a very different sort of weekend away now but wonderful in lots of new ways!

The rain cleared just for the weekend and we were spoilt with a beautiful evening sunset

Cruz's first movie!

We were able to take cruz to the movie - the cinema had a crying room, a small room of to the side of the cinema with just the two chairs, room for the stroller and our own bathroom and changing fascilities! What a FANTASTIC idea. There were not many movies to choose from in that specific cinema though..

Hiccups!

Dad looks at all the dvd's on sale while on the opposite side the little fella checks out the toys!

Adam's cousin Kylie just turned 30!

The cake took the theme to a whole new level -

it was a huge tower of individual flavoured and decorated cupcakes!

The entire Nichols clan wore crazy masks at the black friday bash

Gavin and Lisa looked very glamerous, despite their masks

Matthew got in touch with his feminine side

The loud music and scary masks was all a bit too much for the little guy...

so he and I made an early exit

Cruz having a bath in his tummy tub - or what I refer to as the 'bucket bath' - this is much warmer in winter as his entire body is covered plus we can do it in his room with the heater on!
